Document Dropoff
People often need to drop signed documents off with their attorney.
I am only in my office by appointment. If you need to drop things off without an appointment, that’s fine. If I happen to be in, you can obviously leave the documents with me.
If I’m not in (which is usually the case if you do not have an appointment), you can leave them with the office downstairs, which is Zeliff & Watson. They receive documents for me on a regular basis, and your information is completely secure with them.
If you need to drop anything off outside of normal business hours, Zeliff & Watson has a drop box available. While my office door is on the left-side of the building, theirs is on the right. There are two doors there; the one to the left (again, on the right side of the building) has a drop box near the bottom of the door. If using the drop box, please make sure that the documents are in an envelope or are otherwise kept securely together and that they are clearly labeled with my name.
You can always send original documents by mail, FedEx, or UPS, with or without tracking (note that if you have a signature requirement or restricted delivery, I’m unlikely to be here to sign for it when they happen to attempt delivery.
If you are uncomfortable using the above methods for dropping documents off, whether based on the sensitivity of the information therein or for any other reason, please call my office at (678) 807-9150 and they can schedule an appointment for you to drop things off at a time that I can personally be available to receive them.
